Account Manager

Role:

Account Manager/Sales Representative

This role will suit someone who is a great communicator with the ability to build trust and strong customer relationships. You will thrive on providing exceptional customer service and be technically minded. Any manufacturing experience will be highly favoured along with accuracy and attention to detail.

Details:

  • Full-time permanent position.
  • Ideally you will have a technical background.
  • A willingness to learn about the electronics industry will be key to mastering this role.
  • Excellent oral and written skills are essential.
  • Reporting to: Sales Manager.

Position Purpose:

  • To support and drive business revenue goals by managing and servicing existing customer needs.
  • Prospecting for new customers, while providing exceptional customer service.
  • To achieve and maintain customer loyalty and advocacy.

Responsibilties:

  • Service, manage and connect with existing customers to maximise engagement and satisfaction for repeat business.
  • Develop prospective customers.
  • Provide technical and other support to customers.
  • Look to increase revenue by cross- selling and identifying new opportunities for doing business.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers.
  • Analyse and report reasons for losing quotes.
  • Apply appropriate margins on quotes.
  • Analyse and rectify complaints from customers.
  • Interacting and collaborating across various departments.
